Default 1 idea for Forum 1 for game:

First off, I know nothing of programming for games or setting up forums, so don't know if either idea is possible/enormously time consuming.

For the forums: I can't tell you how many times I go through the sell thread per day (because I can access forums from work, but not the game). People are consistantly putting things in thread titles that are clearly stated as against the rules (ie. godly, amazing, best etc. you get where I am going). Upon signing up for the forums, immediately after logging in, should be transferred to the forum rules. After reading, before being allowed to post take a 5-10 question quiz just over the most basic of rules. Same thing with the sell thread, someone wants to post an item for sale, immediately taken to the sell forum rules and then a short quiz to make sure they read them. Would think that the first thing after joining a forum to do would be read the rules, but everyone sits there and says oh, I didn't know that was against the rules. If this were implemented, there is no excuse to not know the rules.

Secondly, for the game, and this might have been covered somewhere else, is about the skill bar. I personally have a couple differant setups I use for skills depending on if I am soloing, underworld/fow, or helping guildies out in some of the other missions. My thought, is while in town of course, have 2-4 skill setup bars that you can program. Meaning, okay, I am going out soloing straight out of FOW, I go into town, choose my second skill bar setup, adjust my att points, and off I go. Call me lazy, but I would love it if I didn't have to go through my massive amount of skills every time to find 8.

Comments, Complaints, Suggestions, even Flames are welcome, this is opinion, and whether you agree to it or not, you have the right to your own.

I like it, but if people have to jump through hoops of any kind to join they just will not. so I dont know what to tell you. the rules redirect is easy enough to do with instant PM on join, but the other stuff is not so much... People just want a click through easy option. without it they go elsewhere unfortanatly.

My thinking is the people who refuse to read the rules, most likely won't follow them. And if it discourages someone from joining the forum because they don't want to read the rules, is that really a bad thing if they don't join?

my 2 cents

Wow, how about some irony. First you come up with a "reasonable" idea to discourage people not following the guildlines (that should have been posted in the Site Feedback Forum, then you post a idea that has been hashed out over an over on these forums.

I have an idea....... You read the guidlines. How about that? Try searching. That is in the guidlines. I have not read them, recently, but I know they say before you post, search. Guess what you did not do?

Come on, tell me this is just a joke.

Skill Bar Presets has three.

I apologize for the second one, when I did a search, I obviously didn't type the correct words in for what would have brought those posts up. I did do a search before posting, but obviously not well enough lol!
